a 16 month old, I've had my hands full.
After a stressful day, I just look down at the knee high peanut wrapping her arms around my
leg and all the worry goes away.
This little girl is the joy of my life. How could you not smile after looking at her face?!
Scarlett has been into everything.
And when I say everything, I mean everything.
From emptying rice onto the floor to digging out pots and pans to helping with the laundry.
Her curiosity is wild and I'm having a hard time thinking of stimulating activities for her.
Our activities include:
Nature Walks
Coloring with water markers
Reading Books
Making sheet forts
Wood puzzles
Peek A Boo
Collecting things in a Basket.
But sometimes I feel like I run out of things to keep her entertained.
Any ideas? I'd love your thoughts and ideas on things to do with a toddler.
Her little mind is craving new things to learn!
She is so precious! Love the toddler uggs!
ReplyDeleteWell she's adorable, there's no question about that!!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely!!! Love her t shirt too!
ReplyDeleteplay dough, finger painting (?), playing at the park, playing in the leaves. Hope this helps- it can be hard to get creative with a toddler!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie pie! 'Love her Beatles shirt! Music and dancing is usually a big hit with little ones. Puppets can be fun, too! Please give her a hug for me! -Marci @ Stone Cottage Adventures

Love her shirt & her UGGS remind me that I need to start looking for a new pair.
ReplyDeleteSorry to see the little spill there in that last shot.
I am right there with you....seeming to run out of ideas and not wanting to bore her!
ReplyDeleteMy 16 month old has a new found love for dominos. I give her pots and spoons from the kitchen, and she makes "domino soup", haha.
I also just bought cheap sponges in fun shapes at the dollar tree and she spent a good bit of time in the bathtub playing with them.
Hope that helps! She's adorable! :)
I love her Beetles shirt!
ReplyDeleteCooking and laundry can actually be quite entertaining for the littles! You could bake some cookies and let her help. My little one loves to help me empty the dishwasher and put the soap in and press the button to start it! She also helps with folding the clothes! You could try stickers or a baby doll and carriage. My little one loves to push things around! Have you tried building blocks? Just some ideas! Love the outfit by the way! That beatles shirt rocks!
ReplyDeleteShe is a sweetie pie! My little one loves a bowl of water and some dolls - pretend bathtime!! Or tea set with water- tea party for the toys! Water is an underrated toy! I have even filled a pot with water and given the kids big paint brushes and let them paint the outside walls. They think they are being naughty! Hee hee! Claire xxx
