Everyone has been asking to see photos of our new place.
I've been pretty busy this past week with unpacking, grocery shopping, prepping for company and cleaning.
I had a hefty list of things that I wanted to accomplish. It just wasn't feasible.
Scarlett's room was supposed to have gotten painted the color that she picked, a shade between mint and turquoise, called Sprinkle. This did not happen. Instead, I decorated her room the way it was when we arrived and I have to say, the original room color & wall paper don't look half as bad as I thought. Her room is a collected, vintage/eclectic theme. I love mixing vintage with new pieces.
This is Scarlett's room tour in progress.
(I still plan to add new wallpaper & some color.)
Listed at the bottom, is a Room Resource List of where I found everything.

What a darling room, put together with so much creativity and attention to detail. My own daughter would love this space. I especially love the accessory bowl and may have to incorporate that idea into my small space in NYC.

ReplyDeleteThe room is amazing. I think the quote from "The Help" was actually said by Aibileen, not Hattie Mae. Just an FYI.
ReplyDeleteThank you. The maker of this sign recently pointed this out to me and I never even realized this, even after watching it 10 times! haha. A new one is in the making ;)

ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable room! I love the eclectic look! The scrap fabric garland is perfect! Great job!
ReplyDeleteScarlet is a special little girl to have such a wonderful room. How old is this sweet one? My favorite thing to do is to mix old with new also. All old is too cold and all new is too boring. lol! Love the mixture! Her draperies are so fun and I love the hoops. My little 3 year old grandie, Saydee has the pink kitchen appliances. I gave her a cute apron for Christmas and her mom took the sweetest picture of her showing off her pretend cookies. Thanks so much for sharing with Share Your Cup. Happy to be following you.

I just found your blog through Live Laugh Rowe. I'm a new follower! Love your blog and style. And is that Mazzy Star playing in the background? I used to love listening to Mazzy Star.

The Cold press juicer is one of our easiest to use juicers,
ReplyDeletewhile still maintaining a very reasonable price.
It is highly recommended to wash the fruits and vegetables and to consume their juices without
peeling their skin to avail the best results. The main idea of a juicer is to
get more nutrients.
My homepage; new juicer as seen on tv
It is such a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful room. I love everything about it. Thank you for sharing. What a lucky little princess. :)
