Our house is a work in progress. We moved in six months ago and we have lots of things that we want to do with the entire house. But of course this takes time and money and so it becomes an evolving project. I am in need of a lot more books, some gold accents and another chair. For now, this is the space where we hang out. Usually this living space is covered in "Scarlett" toys...I cleaned up for some photos.
You can see the before photos Here.
Welcome to our home.
A fresh Palm Plant from our wedding now sits happily in my white pot in our entry way.
Before the art work was hung.
This space desperately needs some greenery and color. Maybe a Fiddle Leaf Fig next to the fireplace (if I can ever find one) and a plant under the white shelf on the other side of the room. I think some gold accents would also help. I need quite a few books to fill my pitiful bookshelf. A more comfortable chair or small love seat will soon take the place of the chair. We'd like to eliminate the tv. Electronic entertainment would then take place downstairs. We have a finished basement that has a rather large family room and large screen tv for movie nights or to watch our shows.
PS. Don't forget to follow me via Bloglovin' since good ole GFC is ending...
I love it!! The beams on the ceiling are amazing...and seriously-I CANNOT find a fiddle leaf fig tree anywhere either!
